VACANCY NOTICE 

FRONTIER is looking for qualified candidates for the following positions. 

FRONTIER is a professional financial company operating its business with official licenses to run broker/dealer and underwriter business in the Mongolian capital market.

Our company is offering you a position as a qualified financial and capital market expert as part of our professional team, to compete in the world’s financial market using your expertise and knowledge. 

The vacancies will be open until we feel we have a strong enough financial team. 

Common requirements:

• Qualitative and quantitative analysis capability with logical and mathematical thinking
• Computer skills with Word, Excel and Power Point

1. Analyst/ Researcher 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Publish and communicate recommendations to institutional clients.
• Conduct extensive quantitative and quality evaluations of specific companies within major industries such as mining, infrastructure, tourism by utilizing data retrieved from websites, on-site company visits, interviews with senior company managers, industry contacts, and surveys.
• Develop and test investment theses, identify trends, and explain their implications for the firm’s research database.
• Build, update and maintain financial and evaluation models (in Excel) as well as, build, update and maintain marketing presentations (in PowerPoint).
• Conduct primary research using industry sources.
• Respond promptly to client queries.

REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:

• Progress and Commitment to achieving CFA designation will be valued.
• Understanding of and proven experience with financial statement analysis (income statement, cash flow, and balance sheet) and accounting proficiency is a must.
• Strong research, writing, data analysis and collaborative skills. Writing sample can be required.
• Proven ability to analyze complex data, effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks, and communicate ideas effectively.
• Bachelor or Master in Economics/ Finance/ Law or MBA is preferable

2. Industry specialist for mining sector

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES and REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS are same as above Analyst/Researcher but must have extensive expertise and experience in mining/exploration sector.

3. Underwriter 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Establish long-term relationship with companies and government institutions.
• Advise on corporate finance and M&A

REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:

• Strong connections with major corporations and government related institutions.
• Progress and Commitment to achieve CFA designation will be valued.
• Understanding of and proven experience with financial statement analysis (income statement, cash flow, and balance sheet) as well as, accounting proficiency is a must
• Proven ability to analyze complex data, effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks, and communicate ideas effectively.
• Should be able to make effective presentations with Power Point
• Bachelor or Master in Economics and Finance or Law is preferable
